After-hours crowd falls in love with Late Night Lounge - Sydney Opera House announces sold-out series to continue
Tickets on-sale Friday, June 25
Night owls have taken note and the uber cool after-hours club at Sydney Opera House has become one of the hottest tickets in town.
Late Night Lounge is a monthly rock ‘n’ roll, variety, cabaret, chat show experience that brings together both the famous and the infamous artists performing across Sydney.
Sydney Opera House created the signature series in February and with the first five events selling out, Late Night Lounge has been extended until the end of the year.
With a different line up each month, the edgy and dynamic series is always good fun so audiences have come to expect the unexpected.
For the next Lounge on July 10, the line up includes comedian Charlie Pickering (The 7pm Project and Talking ‘Bout My Generation), French chanteuse Caroline Nin, aerial and circus artists Aerialize, musical comedy trio Axis of Awesome and a special encore performance by home-grown cabaret star iOTA.
Keeping a loose rein on the monthly party will be MC Anthony Durkin with a red-hot house band. Normally under the direction of Matt McMahon, Carl Dewhurst will act as special guest musical director for July.
Guests can purchase supper and chill with a drink as we sample stories and songs, moves and grooves, familiar faces and secret surprise guests.
