Stay after-hours at Sydney Opera House with Late Night Lounge
Night owls take note. Sydney Opera House has heard the call and created a signature series for those punters looking for a cool after-hours destination.
Late Night Lounge is a monthly rock ‘n’ roll, variety, cabaret, chat show experience that brings together both the famous and the infamous artists performing across Sydney. The line up varies each month but will be edgy, dynamic and always good fun – audiences should expect the unexpected.
The first three events sold out with Angus and Julia Stone making a surprise appearance in March.
For May 15, the line up includes with circus artist Chelsea McGuffin with ARIA nominee and Helpmann Award winner iOTA, Dog Trumpet’s Reg Mombassa and Pete O’Doherty, the hanky panky of La Clique’s Ursula Martinez and cabaret sensation Natalie Gamsu accompanied by Jonathan Cooper on piano.
Keeping a loose rein on the monthly party will be MC Anthony Durkin with a red-hot house band, under the direction of Matt McMahon.
Guests can purchase supper and chill with a drink as we sample stories and songs, moves and grooves, familiar faces and secret surprise guests.
Late Night Lounge returns on June 12 and July 10 with more dates to be announced soon.
