SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE PRESENTS
THE FOUR SEASONS
15 MARCH – 25 MARCH 2012
Sydney Opera House presents The Four Seasons, the first Babies Proms performance of 2012 that will introduce toddlers to the excitement of live performance. The Four Seasons is Antonia Vivaldi’s best-known work, and is among the most popular pieces of Baroque music.
In this rich musical experience children will have the opportunity to meet the musicians and be introduced to instruments and their sounds, from the silvery pizzicato notes of winter to the dramatic final movement of the summer thunderstorm.
Babies Proms at Sydney Opera House has been running for more than 30 years and remains the perfect introduction for toddlers to the joys of live performance and storytelling in a relaxed, informal and interactive environment.
Babies Proms is part of Sydney Opera House’s Kids at the House program which provides a year-long series of performances and creative experiences for young people.
