SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE OFFICIAL GUIDED TOURS: ONLINE BOOKINGS AND EARLYBIRD SPECIALS!
Whether Aunty Mabel is heading to the big smoke, your Scottish relatives are flying into Sydney, or business associates are visiting from Japan, you can now arrange a Sydney Opera House Tour with a click of the mouse.
Sydney Opera House is now taking online bookings for its most popular 1-Hour Tour, as well as its premium behind-the-scenes Backstage Tour.
By booking your place online, you will receive a discount on the 1-Hour Tour, with up to 30% off for those taking an Earlybird tour at 9.00, 9.30 and 10.00am every day.
The Sydney Opera House 1-Hour Tour journeys through the extraordinary history and architecture of the building. See what goes on inside this country’s most famous building and get an overview of the Australian performing arts scene. Tours leave every half hour between 9am and 5pm, and include an Official Sydney Opera House Souvenir Brochure.
The Backstage Tour gives you exclusive access to areas normally reserved for performers and crew. Hear about the real-life dramas that go on behind the scenes, conduct in the orchestra pit, and sing on the stage of the Concert Hall. As this is one of the busiest performing arts centres in the world, the Backstage Tour leaves once daily at 7am sharp! At the conclusion of the tour, a full breakfast is served in the Green Room, which is where our star musicians, dancers, actors and singers relax between rehearsals and shows.
From mid-September, readers of Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Japanese, and Korean who would like to book the 1-Hour Tour in Japanese, Korean and / or Mandarin online can do so in their own language.
