Sydney Opera House and Business Partner, HP, would like to congratulate the winners of the House In Focus Global Photography Competition.

These winners were part of a top ten voted for by the general public from over 2000 entries. From these top ten finalists the three winners were selected by our judging panel consisting of Architect Jan Utzon, son of Sydney Opera House architect Jørn, photographer Eric Sierins, Director of Max Dupain and Associates and Michael Mendenhall, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, HP.

Charles Fortin, from Sydney will have his entry Phantom of the Opera printed on a large-scale canvas which will be displayed in the Western Foyer - home to three Sydney Opera House theatres - where thousands of visitors will see it. Charles will also receive the recently launched HP TouchSmart PC.
 
The two runners up will each receive a large scale canvas of their image, a roof tile from Sydney Opera House (collected during the original construction) and a book, Building a masterpiece: the Sydney Opera House - a full colour photographic journey of the history of the House.
