Sydney Opera House

The Concert Hall is the largest venue at Sydney Opera House, seating over 2000 people. We present a truly international program of concerts, performances and large-scale events all year round.

Presenting major dance and world music stars like Brazil’s Marisa Monte, the flamenco dancer Eva Yerbabuena and the Bollywood legend Asha Bhosle connects us to Sydney’s diverse and thriving international communities.

Large-scale events like Play! A Video Game Symphony or The Lost and Found Orchestra (from the creators of Stomp) enable us to entertain even wider audiences, especially families and young people, offering many their first unforgettable experience of seeing a performance at Sydney Opera House.

The Concert Hall is also the flagship performance space of the Sydney Symphony and regularly hosts a number of other partners, including Sydney Festival, the Australian Chamber Orchestra and Sydney Philharmonia Choirs.
