INSPIRE IMAGINATION IN CHILDREN
Since 1977, education and youth engagement have been priorities for Sydney Opera House and a significant part of what we do. Our Education and Young People’s program offers access, active engagement and quality contemporary performing arts experiences for all school-age students, linked to the curriculum.
We are committed to providing access to best practice performing arts experiences for all school students. Through the Arts Assist program students from New South Wales priority funded schools are able to attend House:Ed performances, with the support of subsidised tickets and travel.
To continue to commission, create and present world-class work for our youngest audience members, and to further develop our education and outreach programs, we need your support.
It costs $35 for one child to attend via Arts Assist - together we can do more.
SUPPORT ARTS ASSIST
We believe children’s lives are enriched through their imagination and that all children, regardless of circumstance, should experience the power of performing arts to inspire them.
Of the 145,000 disadvantaged school children in NSW, we are only able to bring 1 in 58 to experience Sydney Opera House's critically acclaimed education program. Our goal is to reach at least 1 in 10. But to achieve this we need your support.
Help us inspire the imagination of the children that need it most by giving to our Arts Assist program. Every gift makes a difference.
