Ever settled in to see a show and the person next to you starts coughing? It can’t be helped but it can really ruin a great night out for the rest of the audience. Fortunately our partner Darrell Lea, have come to the rescue by developing special butter menthol cough lollies which are now available free of charge to all patrons attending performances in the Concert Hall and Opera Theatre. The lollies were developed with the needs of Sydney Opera House patrons being the key consideration factor - these lollies are wrapped in a specially designed wax paper to ensure minimal noise when opening so no-one is disturbed from enjoying their chosen performance.

The Darrell Lea lollies are placed in and around Sydney Opera House Concert Hall and Opera Theatre foyers where on average 60,000 people attend performances each month in these venues. Through product placement this sponsorship has provided Darrell Lea with significant exposure and branding opportunities to one of their target markets.

The partnership has received positive feedback from many patrons who attend performances in these venues. Front of House staff have commented that patrons can’t get enough of the Darrell Lea lollies and make an evening at Sydney Opera House just that little bit more enjoyable for everyone.

As an Australian owned company Darrell Lea is proud to partner Sydney Opera House, an Australian icon itself.
