Djembes, congas, tom toms, agogo bells, shakers, body parts and voice boxes combine in this innovative and exotic interactive performance. This performance is testimony to the group’s pedigree as storytellers and composers as they take secondary students on a musical journey and help them explore a cappella music in a jam session of dazzling rhythms, provocative percussion and improvised vocal sounds from around the world.
2007 ARIA award nominees Coco’s Lunch presents scintillating songs for young people that are clever, catchy and full of zest. Renowned for their harmonies, brilliant energy and stunning live performances, this quintet has thrilled audiences at leading festivals around the globe, along with performances at schools throughout Australia and Asia inspiring children to sing and to create their own music through improvisation.
