About Just For Laughs

Venue: Various Venues
Presented by: Sydney Opera House

Description

The world’s favourite comedy festival Just for Laughs will return to the Sydney Opera House this October armed with yet another stellar line up of international and Australian comedians.

Brace yourself as some of the best names in comedy land in Sydney for the third incarnation of this annual festival. Featuring the ever sassy Kathy Griffin (My Life on the D-List,) Rob Schneider (Grown Ups, Saturday Night Live,) and Ireland’s #1 stand up Tommy Tiernan (The Late Show with David Letterman) taking over the concert hall!

Australia’s very own Rove McManus will host an evening of sidesplitting hilarity with performers from across the globe for the one and only international comedy gala.

To top it all off you can catch UK favourite Mark Watson (Mock the Week), partake in an evening of improvisation with Who’s Line is it Anyway? Stars Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood and witness Peter Helliar and fellow romantically dysfunctional comedians explore the craziness of human coupling in Date Night: The Relationship Show.

And to remember the laughs longer, for the first time, audiences this year can be apart of an intimate studio experience with Just for Laughs: The Stand Up Series filmed exclusively for the Comedy Channel and hosted by Dave Thornton (This Week Live, The Project).
