From her mid 1980’s debut with seminal band Do Re Mi (and their chart topping single Man Overboard), through film and stage appearances, to an extensive solo career, Deborah Conway remains a constant beacon for high quality, creative independence. Her first solo album, 1991’s ARIA award winning String Of Pearls, set the standard – attaining platinum status and spawning the single It’s Only The Beginning. 1993’s Bitch Epic and the experimental Ultrasound followed. After a stint in the UK Conway released My Third Husband, Exquisite Stereo, PC (The Songs Of Patsy Cline) and Summertown.
Along the way Conway also starred in the stage show Always …Patsy Cline; collaborated with classical composer George Dreyfus, Paul Grabowsky’s Australian Art Orchestra and Brisbane band george. Most recently she has devised and produced Broad.
