 Construction Progress Update December 2013

The Truck Turning Bay (TTB) is an area of the new underground loading dock that enables vehicles to manoeuvre into a bay at the rear of the dock, unload goods and then exit directly.

The TTB is approximately 14 metres below ground level and is enclose at ground level by a post-tensioned concrete slab. In December 2014, this ground slab was poured, marking a significant milestone in the project and facilitating the return of part of the construction site for public use.

This video documents the pour and provides information about the concrete pour and post-tensioned slab.
