National Indigenous and Islander Observance Day Committee Week celebrates the history, culture and achievements of Australia’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people past and present.

NAIDOC Week at the Sydney Opera House in 2014 focused on topics around Aboriginal racial and sexual identity and delved into some of the complicated questions of sovereignty, treaty and the constitution in Australia.

Through a series of free films, talks and live performance, NAIDOC week was a sparkling mix of song, satire and the spoken word.

The exact dates for NAIDOC Week at Sydney Opera House in 2015 are yet to be confirmed. Sign up to InHouse to keep up to date with news.
