Since the launch of The Studio in 2002, Sydney Opera House has been at the forefront of presenting the best cabaret artists from Australia and abroad.
From Paul Capsis, Bob Downe, Meow Meow and The Burlesque Hour to Justin Bond, Camille O'Sullivan, Amanda Palmer and Frisky & Mannish, Bennelong Point has continued to be a regular home for this intimate style of music.
Now under the banner of House Cabaret, this ongoing series of inspiring and diverse experiences will take audiences on a journey of discovery from old school to new cool.
More than just music, House Cabaret will have a sense of intimacy, vulnerability, sincerity and humour. Edgy and twisted, audiences will enjoy the kind of traditional cabaret they have come to know and love, but can also challenge themselves with post-modern interpretations and all points between.
You can save up to 25% by purchasing a House Cabaret package, of three, four, five or more shows at a time.
- 3 Show Package – get 15% off the price of all tickets
- 4 Show Package – get 20% off the price of all tickets
- 5 Shows or More – get 25% off the price of all tickets
Rules:
- Packages can only be purchased over the counter or phone.
- Packages apply to all reserves except B Reserve Upstairs Seating and Standing Room
- Package seats are limited for each show; buy early to avoid disappointment.
- A ticket buyer can create or add to a package with additional purchases over time, as long as it is the same patron and they tell the call centre this when they add shows. The discount is not retrospective, so if a show has already occurred when they become eligible for a package, the discount will not apply to the past performance.
- Packages apply for concession as well as full-priced tickets
CONCESSIONS
A concession for House Cabaret means a pensioner, full-time student, child 15 & under, member of MEAA, health-care cardholder.
