APRIL SCHOOL HOLIDAYS AT SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE

There is no better place for families these April school holidays than Sydney Opera House, with two new theatre shows, free creative play activities and a special tour of the House designed just for kids.

The award-winning picture book Room on the Broom will be brought to life on stage for audiences aged under 8. Family favourite The Listies return to Sydney Opera House with their new show about the world of the silver screen in The Listies in 6D* (*that’s twice as good as 3D). Kids Discovery Tours will take children behind the scenes of one of the busiest performing arts centres in the world. Our free Creative Play activities in the Western Foyer will unlock every child’s inner comedian with participatory activities and interactive installations.

Jonathan Bielski, Head of Programming at Sydney Opera House said, "Generations of Sydney families have enjoyed the thrill of the performing arts at their Opera House. This coming school holidays we will be a major destination with shows, kids tours, special lunchboxes and free activities for all. Everyone is welcome at Bennelong Point so come enjoy holidays at the House."
