The Sydney Morning Herald is proud to be a Sydney Opera House Media Partner in 2009.
In collaboration with The Sydney Morning Herald, Sydney Opera House will be able to communicate the broad range of programs, events, tours and other activities on offer to a very wide audience.
The Sydney Morning Herald will also provide valuable media support to certain key programs including Brian Eno’s Luminous, Sydney Opera House Talks and, later in 2009, the Festival of Dangerous Ideas.
In addition to supporting these key events, The Sydney Morning Herald and Sydney Opera House have been working together to produce a quarterly insert, At the House, which profiles three months of events and performances in each issue. This insert has a distribution in metropolitan Sydney of some 210,000 and a readership of 918,000.
As part of the new partnership, copies of the paper will be available to patrons purchasing tickets – newspaper stands are located at Sydney Opera House near the Information desk in the Box Office foyer and on the Lower Concourse outside the tour cloaking desk.
