Since the company inception in 1984, State Automation
is dedicated to providing professional solutions to control the theatre
lighting and automated stage control systems. Apart from designing and supplying products,
State Automation’s experienced service team offers support in the maintenance
of stage lighting, automation and machinery.
Its customers includes leading opera houses, theatres and television
studios around the world: the Esplanade in Singapore, Istana Budaya Theatre in
Malaysia, Melbourne Arts Centre, Helsingborg Concert Hall in Sweden and Le
Grand Theatre de Provence in France just to name a few.
State Automation’s long association with Sydney Opera
House dates back to 1985, when the first lighting dimmer installation in the
Concert Hall, Opera Theatre, Drama Theatre and Playhouse venues was completed. Since then, State Automation has been the
on-site contractor providing support for the stage lighting and automation
systems as well as managing the external architectural lighting.
Recently, State Automation was awarded a new contract
for the maintenance of the stage lighting, automation and machinery. A service team of 12 personnel and
technicians are responsible for the smooth operation at Sydney Opera House and are
available for support 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
