After many miles, hundreds of costume changes and thousands of notes Opera Australia is still as committed to presenting great opera for everyone. Experiencing theatre, the alchemy of words, image and action, for the first time can be a life-changing event. Sydney Theatre Company is honoured to create many magical moments for our young audiences, and to be the caretakers of their ongoing theatrical experiences through STC Ed's productions, workshops, resources and outreach programs.
STC Ed Schools Days are an opportunity for students to attend STC Main Stage productions and have unique access to the insights of the creative team and actors. 2011 STC Performances at Sydney Opera House are: In The Next Room, Terminus, Loot and No Man's Land.For Schools Day performances.

THE AUSTRALIAN BALLET
The Australian Ballet conducts Education programs in theatres, in schools and in communities. Founded in 1962, The Australian Ballet is one of the country's flagship arts companies. Each year it performs works from the classical repertoire as well as contemporary works by major Australian and international choreographers. Through its performances and Education Programs, The Australian Ballet aims to ensure that current and future generations of Australians continue to value dance as a form of entertainment, artistic expression and recreational activity.
In 2012 The Australian Ballet Education productions at Sydney Opera House include Introduction to the Ballet featuring a performance of Graeme Murphy’s Beyond Twelve, Informative Talks and Dance as a Career.

Sydney Symphony Meet the Music
The Meet the Music program is a series of school concerts presenting orchestral repertoire to student aged audiences and featuring significant works by Australian composers and supported by teacher seminars and resources.
The remaining 2011 Meet the Music concerts are Young Guns, featuring a new violin concerto by Carl Vine, and The Perfect Hero with Eddie Perfect narrating the Egmont Incidental Music by Beethoven.

Bell Shakespeare uses the works of Shakespeare and other classic texts to explore and re-imagine contemporary life. In the 21 years since its inception, Bell Shakespeare’s Learning programmes have been an integral part of the Company’s work, reaching up to 100,000 students and teachers across Australia, each year.
