Tying into a long history of local Aboriginal women gathering on this site to shuck oysters, during Vivid Sydney Opera Bar will serve four oyster shots enriched with indigenous berries and herbs for vibrant colouring accompanied by finger limes, lemon myrtle and smoked macadamia nuts for $20.

Take your senses on a journey with Opera Bar’s Sunset Tasting sessions. Set within Opera Bar’s exclusive Meat + Cheese room, sit back and relax with sweeping views of the sun setting over Sydney’s Harbour, Harbour Bridge, Opera House and city skyline.
Opera Bar will be hosting three sessions, each transporting you into different journeys within the indulgent world of Whisky + Cheese. So whether you are a beginner with whisky, or a whisky connoisseur, these sessions will leave you nothing less than eternally satisfied and a master of Whisky + Cheese.
A limit of 20 guests will ensure interactive education and personalised service. This Whisky + Cheese tasting session will commence at 6pm and will include:

A tasting of four whisky’s- each perfectly matched with local artisan cheeses

Experience an exclusive cheese tasting session, in which you will discover John Dewar and Sons fine whisky emporium’s range of the last great malts of Scotland that will compliment palatable cheeses. Brand Ambassador Loy Catada will expertly guide you through a journey in this mouth watering pairing class, and you will learn how to match these fine single malts with artesian cheeses.
