Important Information about Site Access during Vivid Sydney 2014
The Sydney Opera House is a prominent and popular vantage point during Vivid Sydney. It is home to the stunning Lighting of the Sails and the Vivid LIVE contemporary music program.
City road closures will be in place during the festival. Public transport should be used wherever possible. Additional services will be in operation.
Please allow sufficient extra travel time when arriving for a show. Large numbers of visitors are expected during the festival, particularly on weekends. The Circular Quay precinct and buses, trains and stations will be crowded in the peak times.
There will be normal entry to the site for ticket holders. If the site reaches capacity at any point, managed access will be in place for show patrons.
For everything you need to know about road closures and getting around Sydney by public transport during the event, please visit Vivid Sydney Transport or call 131 500.
Sydney Opera House Shuttle
Throughout Vivid Sydney the complimentary Sydney Opera House Shuttle Bus will continue to operate for elderly and less mobile patrons and visitors.
