Internationally acclaimed harpsichordist and fortepianist, Neal Peres da Costa performs a chamber version of Beethoven's first piano concerto. The program also features chamber versions of Haydn’s wonderful 'Clock' Symphony (arr. by Salomon), Mozart’s 'Jupiter' Symphony (by a friend of Mozart’s son Carl) and a beautiful Romance by Salomon, close friend and colleague of Haydn.

The Australian Haydn Ensemble is a new and exciting period instrument chamber group. The members of the ensemble are some of Australia’s finest period instrument specialists. Performing in this program will be Melissa Farrow (Flute), Alice Evans (Violin), Skye McIntosh (Violin), Marianne Yeomans (Viola) Edwina Cordingley (Cello). This groups versatile combination of period instruments will transport you to a unique and magical sound world.
