Description

This practical, interactive drama workshop, facilitated by professional actors and drama educators from Monkey Baa Theatre Company, offers students the exciting opportunity to experience being in the Sydney Opera House as an actor on stage.  Students will actively participate in performance exercises including vocal and physical warm-ups and practical drama tasks, developing their understanding of dramatic context and the elements of drama. 

The workshop includes theatre etiquette, performance terminology and dramatic skills, allowing students to explore storytelling, mime, role and sequencing action to create meaning. Students will also have the opportunity to develop listening, interaction and presentation skills through group tasks and collaboration, using non-verbal communication skills such facial expression, body and movement.
