LITTLE BIG SHOTS
Recommended for students in years 3 - 10
"Little Big Shots was a fantastic experience for our students and was much appreciated by the staff. Visual literacy is an ongoing focus for us and we benefited from the range and quality of the films shown.” Teacher review
Little Big Shots is Australia's major annual touring children's film festival and is perfect for students of all ages. Each year the festival returns with a whole new crop of juicy screen adventures to amaze and delight. An inspiring, meaningful and fun-filled festival, Little Big Shots features the best in local and international children's shorts, animations, documentaries and child-produced films.
The films screening in Little Big Shots inspire discussion of world cultures, different languages, cultural diversity, emotional intelligence and human values. Better still, we guarantee they will make kids laugh, whoop, think and create. As always, there will be an opportunity for students to meet filmmakers through our Q&A’s after each session, led by our educators.
The full program will be available on our website from June 2012. If any of your students are making films, the festival offers them a fantastic opportunity to find an audience. Entries for the 2012 Festival close January 1, 2012. Visit littlebigshots.com.au for more information.
