Description

This fun, interactive workshop will provide opportunities for K - 2 students to develop talking and listening skills and explore the features of narrative texts through active and engaged listening, participation in a jointly constructed narrative, and dramatisation activities.

Facilitated by a professional storyteller, students will explore the structure and stages of a narrative, be encouraged to generate original and imaginative ideas, develop appropriate use of language, and develop non-verbal communication skills through use of voice, face and body. This curriculum-linked workshop will provide a unique opportunity for students to develop crucial interaction, presentation and listening skills, while exploring the inner world of their imagination.
