This one day forum will provide you with the skills and confidence to teach Aboriginal Perspectives across all stages. Sessions will be led by practicing Aboriginal artists and Aboriginal representatives from the Department of Education. Sessions will result in practical skills, knowledge of relevant cultural protocols and the ability to connect with your local community organisations.
Storytelling and vocalising workshops will be led by experienced artists, and will result in comprehensive and engaging lessons with practical exercises perfect for the classroom.
You will leave with the ability to deliver on curriculum requirements, having the confidence and skills to engage and inspire your students' interest in Aboriginal culture.
