Description

After the broom-splitting magic of The Sorcerer's Apprentice to begin, and then we're off to an evening of storytelling. Edna, we're assured, will acquit herself with style and taste in the Saint-Saëns' festive Carnival of the Animals.

Then the housewife from Moonee Ponds will put on her best frock for what she likes to call a "little story about bravery and animal rights" Peter & the Wolf of course. Our finale is the fabulously Spanishy tale of Juanita, a lobster living in a grotto off the coast of Wales. Where else?

A special and shortened performance for families with children is offered on Sunday 23 June 2pm at the Sydney Opera House. More information on this concert can be found  here .
