Live Sessions:
Middle Kids in the Playhouse

Sydney Opera House

Hot on the heels of a hugely successful tour, supporting musical legends like Paul Kelly and Grammy winners The War on Drugs, Sydney’s own Middle Kids released their hotly anticipated debut album Lost Friends on May 4. The record explores the beautiful, yet chaotic heart of the ideals that unify us in an era of divisiveness. Vocalist and writer Hannah Joy brings a huge depth of emotion to her musings on love and hope, while Bassist Tim Fitz and drummer Harry Day contribute melodies and rhythms that make the band hard to categorise, but easy to fall in love with.

Just a couple of weeks after its release they played to a sold out Joan Sutherland Theatre as part of Vivid LIVE. We were lucky enough to get the band into our Playhouse to record this intimate session. Featuring new tracks Mistake, Don't Be Hiding and Bought It, the video displays their effortless grace making it one of our favourite sessions to date.
