Nooks & Crannies: Jose Gonzalez

Inside Shell A3

After two spellbinding sold-out Concert Hall performances, Sydney Opera House and its Major Partner Intel are honoured to announce that the hauntingly-beautiful whispery acoustics of José González has graced a stage unlike any other.

As part of a new digital collaboration produced in the Intel Broadcast Studios, Nooks & Crannies is a unique live music series celebrating iconic architecture and artistic expression in unexpected and spectacular unseen spaces inside Sydney Opera House.

The first episode of the series features Sweden’s answer to the great modern troubadour. We can’t look away as González’s soft voice and gentle guitar fill the inner shell of the A3 sail as he performs his beautiful song Open Book from last year's album release Vestiges & Claws.
