Nooks & Crannies: Poliça

Inside the Ballet Rehearsal Room

Following their moody and arresting debut which had the Joan Sutherland Theatre teeming with synth atmospherics and heart pounding bass lines as part of #VividLIVE, Sydney Opera House and its Major Partner Intel are honoured to present highly respected Minneapolis electro-pop quartet Poliça in an intimate live performance in episode two of Nooks & Crannies.

As part of a new digital collaboration produced in the Intel Broadcast Studios, Nooks & Crannies is a unique live music series celebrating iconic architecture and artistic expression in unexpected and spectacular spaces inside Sydney Opera House.

Hidden within the Opera House's inner sanctum, the Ballet Rehearsal Room is home to the world's best ballet dancers. In this live recording, its understated interior comes alive with Poliça's ‘Summer Please’ from politically charged 2016 release ‘United Crushers’.
