Do you remember the first day at your current job?
It’s the like first day of school over and over again. Do you remember how you felt?
We all know that the first day of any new experience can be nerve racking. Working with our Major Partner Intel, we decided to imagine what a robots first day at the Opera House might be like. Despite some scepticism this little guy soon became an integral part of our team.
His story was first conceived when we launched a Partnership with Intel back in 2015. Intel, the world leader in computing innovation were just as excited as us to see what the Intel Robot would get up to on his first working day at the House and had many a patron doing the double take!
Intel is the Opera House's first naming-rights sponsor, with the launch of the Intel Broadcast Studio.
The Studio, powered by Intel technology, is connected to every Opera House venue by an advanced optical fibre-based digital audio-video network. The result is access to unrivalled audio-video quality from across the site, whether it's a piano recital in the intimate surrounds of the Utzon Room or a spectacular outdoor concert on the Forecourt.
The Partnership with Intel enables us to push the boundaries of creativity and enhance the experience of the 8.2M people who visit the precinct each year as well as grow our online audiences.
It’s just one way we’re working with our Major Partner Intel to crack the world’s busiest performing arts centre open so the world can see inside.
Intel proud Major Partner of Sydney Opera House.
