WATCH: Jon Hopkins performs 'Scene Suspended'

This special performance of 'Scene Suspended' was recorded exclusively for Piano Day 2020.

Jon Hopkins is a Grammy-nominated producer known for his immersive electronic music, but finds himself increasingly returning to the piano to compose. His new single 'Scene Suspended' was first played live at the Opera House at his headline show in the Concert Hall.

In a recent Domino Media Release, Jon said: “The main tracks on Singularity were built of hundreds of layers and processes, and took nearly two years to build. Following on from this I’ve been craving a return to simplicity, to acoustic sound and to the instrument I grew up playing.”
