Stimulating, Thought-provoking

Worried about the world? You’re not alone. Climate change. Fake news. Money. Politics. It’s exhausting – even facts can be alternative now. This festival is our antidote, celebrating artists, thinkers and doers who have spearheaded social change and fought for what they believe in. Taking place on the first weekend of September, Antidote is a time for us to come together to recharge, rethink, take stock, and take action.

Awe-inspiring, Mesmerising

Bangarra Dance Theatre’s Bennelong

Woollarawarre Bennelong was a senior man of the Eora, from the area around Sydney Harbour, when British colonisers arrived in 1788. He learnt English, travelled to London and served as an interlocutor between two vastly different worlds. His extraordinary story will be told in Bangarra Dance Theatre’s Bennelong, a full-length work whose world premiere will be at the Sydney Opera House on 29 June.
