Putting New York back on the map as the hip-hop capital of the world, Wu-Tang Clan created the blueprint for rap’s world domination by pairing RZA’s gritty beats with the wild flow of eight brothers in arms who would prove legendary. A tapestry of martial arts philosophy, street tale poetry and the electric grit of basement rhymes, 36 Chambers finally provided an East Coast answer to the G-Funk domination of Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Tupac.

Through low-riding anthems like 'C.R.E.A.M.' to the pumped up 'Protect Ya Neck', Wu-Tang’s debut album has proved a masterpiece, inspiring the likes of future rap supergroups such as Brockhampton, Odd Future and Kendrick Lamar’s Black Hippy collective.

Now invading the Opera House for two in-the-round Concert Hall performances, prepare to throw up The W and see one of the most revolutionary rap groups ever perform their stone cold classic album for these never-to-be-repeated Australian only shows.

Presented by the Sydney Opera House.
