This year's Australia Day Live at the Sydney Opera House Forecourt and Circular Quay will be a night to acknowledge the Aussie spirit and celebrate our strength. 

Australia Day Live is a unique concert taking place both on land and water, featuring live musical performances choreographed to a flotilla of yachts, jet-skis and fly boarders, with a synchronised pyrotechnics display on the harbour.

The line-up will let the songs and lyrics tell their stories, while creating an atmosphere of optimism and togetherness in a spectacular and heartfelt concert.

Aussie music icons John WilliamsonVanessa AmorosiThe Original SeekersEurovision star Isaiah Firebrace, along with rockers Eskimo Joe, singing star Christine Anu, 2019 The Voice winner Diana Rouvasopera supremo Daniel Belletalented Indigenous vocal group KARI and world-renowned didgeridoo player William Barton will move the crowd with their epic ballads, including patriotic and unifying songs such as ‘I Am Australian’. Artists will be accompanied by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.

Australia Day Live 2020 at Sydney Opera House Terms and Conditions

Ticket Limit: A Maximum 2 tickets per person.  Tickets booked in excess of maximum quantity per person (2 tickets) may be cancelled.

Timings and Access: Gates Open from 5.30pm. Entertainment from 6.30pm. As this is a free event, early arrival is advised. Please note as the concert will be broadcast from 7.30pm entry after 6.30pm cannot be guaranteed.

Filming: Please note that this performance will be filmed. Audience members face and likeness may be used in video and broadcasting of this show.

Conditions of Entry: Australia Day Live 2020 at Sydney Opera House is an all ages event. People 15 years and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times. No BYO alcohol, glass, beverages, food. Water in sealed plastic bottles permitted. No umbrellas, strollers, chairs, sparklers, selfie sticks. For a full list of prohibited items please see Conditions of Entry below. BYO cushions permitted. For the safety of all, bag checks will be conducted on entry – your cooperation is appreciated. No cloakroom will be provided.

Accessibility: Please book through https://www.australiaday.com.au/plan-your-trip/disability-and-mobility-support/ if your require wheelchair access or other special needs. We will make your booking and provide any updates on access info closer to the date.

Event Site Information: This is an outdoor event and the performance will proceed in inclement weather.  Please come prepared with protective clothing and sunscreen if required.

Transportation: We encourage the use of public transport to this event. Link to public transport info: http//www.transportnsw.info/

Road Closures: Road closures may be in place. Access to the event will be on foot down Macquarie Street.

Ticket Dispatch: When you claim your tickets, you can either:
• Select the “Print at Home delivery" to receive your tickets via email on the morning of the event. Be sure to print your ticket before the concert.
• Select “Hold for Collect” to collect your tickets in person any time from 9am Tues, 21 January 2020 up until the evening of the performance from the Main Box Office (open Monday to Saturday from 9:00 to 8:30pm, or Sunday from 9:00am to 5:00pm).  Please note, there may be lengthy queues on Australia Day evening and entry to the event after 6.30pm with or without a ticket cannot be guaranteed.
No tickets will be posted.
If at any stage you are unable to attend, please email bookings@sydneyoperahouse.com or call 02 9250 7777 as soon as possible. We’ll pass your ticket to another lucky person. It would be un-Australian to let others miss out!

Note: All attendees must hold a valid ticket, including children.
