A holiday concert sure to pack a punch!
Who are your heroes? For us, Bach, Shakespeare and Pakastani activist Malala Yousafzai made the shortlist. So did Dorothy Wall (author of Blinky Bill) and adventurer Andrew Hughes. This super concert is packed full of songs about the heroes you know and love – and some you might not!
Sure to inspire all ages, and produced especially for primary aged kids, this interactive show is the perfect day out – and the perfect introduction to the world of opera for the whole family. The incredible Ellie Meagher headlines a striking line up of young Australian singers, all wearing capes!

What time do I need to arrive before the event?
It’s a great idea to arrive early, relax and soak up the atmosphere.
If you are collecting your tickets from the Box Office, we recommend doing this at least 30 minutes before the event starts. If you have already received your tickets, aim to arrive at least 15 minutes before the event. This should allow enough time for the mandatory visual inspections and/or cloaking of bags and personal belongings by Opera House security staff before entering the venue and finding your seats.
We recommend leaving all large bags at home, any bags larger than an A4 piece of paper is required to be checked into the Cloak Room.
If you are late, we will seat you as soon as possible, but please be aware that some events have lock out periods. In these cases, latecomers will be admitted at a suitable break in the performance. On occasions this may not be until the interval, or at all where there is no interval. Details of our right to refuse admission can be found in our General Terms and Conditions for Tickets and Events.
Can I take photos during the event?
