Fran Lebowitz’s ideal literary dinner party is one that nobody is invited to. Hired by Andy Warhol as a columnist for Interview, she is the author of the bestselling essay collections, Metropolitan Life and Social Studies. In 2010, she was the subject of a Martin Scorsese documentary, Public Speaking. She has also been named one of Vanity Fair’s most stylish women of the year. Lebowitz lives in New York City, as she does not believe that she would be allowed to live anywhere else.
