Miranda Tapsell is best known for her acting roles in the award-winning feature film The Sapphires and Channel Nine's phenomenally successful Love Child, now in its fourth season. Miranda’s recent television work includes Redfern Now, Wolf Creek, Cleverman, Mabo and Playschool. The Logie-winner has appeared in Sydney Theatre Company’s The Secret River and Gallipoli and performed the lead role in Belvoir St Theatre’s Yibiyung.
Nakkiah Lui is a writer/actor and Gamilaroi/Torres Strait Islander woman. She co-writes/stars in Black Comedy on ABC TV. After winning Belvoir St Theatre's Balnaves Indigenous playwright award for Kill The Messenger, she was Playwright in Residence from 2012 – 2014. Her play, Black is the New White premiered at Sydney Theatre Company in 2017. She made her directorial debut with An Octoroon as part of Brisbane Festival 2017. Nakkiah has contributed to The Guardian and Junkee and has appeared on Q&A and The Drum on ABC. Her new six-part comedy series, Kiki & Kitty, will premiere on ABE Comedy in December.
