Gillian Armstrong is an internationally renowned Australian film director. Her films have screened at Cannes, Berlin and Sundance; and have been nominated for Academy and Golden Globe Awards, as well as receiving awards from the Australian Film Institute and the British Academy. Her credits include My Brilliant Career, Starstruck, Oscar and Lucinda, Charlotte Gray and Little Women. Gillian is the recipient of an AM for services to the Australian Film Industry, and the Women in Hollywood Icon Award.
Kate Jinx is a writer, critic and film curator. She is the director of programming at Sydney’s Golden Age Cinema and appears regularly on ABC TV’s The Mix.

She’s the best-selling author of two devastatingly honest, hilarious books and created two of her own ABC series: Judith Lucy’s Spiritual Journey and Judith Lucy Is All Woman, both of which were nominated for Best Light Entertainment series at the AACTA awards.
Michelle Law is a writer and actor working across print, theatre, film and television. She wrote the smash-hit play Single Asian Female, which has sold out seasons and continues to tour across Australia. Her screenwriting work includes the SBS show Homecoming Queens, which she co-created, co-wrote and stars in. Michelle has been awarded a Queensland Premier's Young Publishers and Writers Award, and two Australian Writers Guild awards. Her latest play, Miss Peony, will be staged at Belvoir St Theatre in 2020.
Sarinah is a writer and filmmaker living in Sydney on Wangal land. A fan of the hybrid, she likes to work in the space where fiction and non-fiction collapse into each other. Sarinah has written for Frieze and ABC Arts and contributed catalogue essays for shows at AGNSW, MoMA, and LUX Moving Image. In 2019 she attended the Union Docs research and development lab, with a feature documentary on artist run initiatives, community and friendship. Between 2017-2018 she was on the board of Runway Australian Experimental Arts, editing an issue of the journal focused on female filmmakers of colour. Her current magazine side-hustle is as the editorial assistant of the Australian Feminist Studies Journal.
