we need to talk

When did you become a feminist? It could have been an experience, a book or a movement that made you call yourself a feminist for the first time and those moments of revelation are different for all of us. After it’s hugely successful debut at All About Women in 2019, Conversations with Feminists is back and  we want you to join in! The format is simple – the conversation kicks off and every five minutes a buzzer signals when it’s time for a new speaker to take the stage, then we start up again and repeat.  Every speaker gets 10 minutes on the floor. This three-hour conversation between festival attendees, speakers and prominent Sydneysiders is a bit like conversational musical chairs. If you sign up to speak, or just want to listen,  we guarantee this free and open event will be revealing and revelatory for all participants.
