Highlights of Rhonda Burchmore's illustrious career include performing on London's West End in a number of musicals including Sugar Babies featuring Mickey Rooney and Ann Miller, Stop The World I Want To Get Off with Anthony Newly and starring opposite David Atkins in the original Hot Shoe Shuffle.
Other productions include lead roles in Annie Get Your Gun, Mame, Easter Parade, The Boyfriend, They're Playing Our Song, Song & Dance, Guys & Dolls, Respect- A Musical Journey of Women, Little Orphan Trashley, Eurobeat, Calender Girls, and as Tanya in the original Australian production of Mamma Mia!
For The Melbourne Theatre Company, Rhonda starred in several productions including Into The Woods, Urinetown, Tom Foolery and the highly-acclaimed The Drowsy Chaperone co-starring Geoffrey Rush.
In 2014 Rhonda won the Cabaret Icon Award at the International Adelaide Cabaret Festival.
Cabaret shows include My Funny Valentine, Fever, Everybody Loves Rhonda, Legs 11, Cry Me A River- The World Of Julie London, Vinyl Viagra and, most recently, the audacious Twins alongside Trevor Ashley.
Tim Campbell is one of Australia's most versatile and much loved entertainers. From leading roles on Home and Away, House Husbands, Big Sky, Dead Gorgeous and host of national prime time shows Celebrity Singing Bee, Wheel of Fortune, National Bingo Night and countless other TV roles, to lead roles in the stage shows Wicked, Rent and Shout!, Tim is certainly a star of both stage and screen. When he’s not Dancing With the Stars or entertaining on Channel 9’s Carols By Candlelight, Tim is performing the classic 70s and 80s dance floor hits with his band from his ARIA top 30 and iTunes top 10 album High School Disco, traveling around the country in concert and at special events. Tim has took to the stage playing Corny Collins in the national tour of Hairspray the Arena Spectacular, and in the national tour of Grease the Arena Experience as Johnny Casino. He also appeared in Channel 7’s miniseries about the life of Olivia Newton John.
Tom Ballard is a much-loved Australian comedian who made his name on stage, radio and television. He began his comedy career in high school when he entered the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s Class Clowns competition. In 2006, Tom was a finalist in the open-mic competition Raw Comedy and from there was scouted by national youth radio network triple j to host a show on air.
The MICF invited Tom to perform in their 2008 showcase The Comedy Zone and in 2009, alongside Alex Dyson, Tom took over triple j’s weekend breakfast shift. That year he also performed his debut solo stand up show Tom Ballard Is What He Is which won the prestigious Melbourne Airport Best Newcomer Award.
From 2010 to 2013, Tom & Alex commanded the triple j weekday breakfast and after four years Tom decided to call it a day to focus on stand up.
You may have seen Tom wearing make-up and telling jokes on everything from The Project to Good News Week to Spicks’n’Specks to It’s A Date. In 2014 he hosted Reality Check – a panel show for the ABC about the whacky world of reality television. He also co-hosted SBS’s coverage of the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras since 2014. In 2015 he was also asked to guest host the ABC’s Q&A.
Tom has supported the likes of Wil Anderson, Stephen Merchant, Danny Bhoy and Kyle Kinane and was invited to perform at the 2015 Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. His show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe that year, Taxis & Rainbows & Hatred, saw him nab a nomination for the Fosters Best Newcomer Award. In 2016 he toured two brand new shows: an hour of stand up show entitled The World Keeps Happening and Boundless Plains To Share, a 70-minute comedy lecture about Australia’s treatment of refugees. For these two shows he was nominated for the 2016 Barry Award For Most Outstanding Show at the MICF and was given the inaugural Pinder Prize, named in honour of the late great John Pinder.
Tom also hosts a politics-focussed interview podcast called Like I’m A Six-Year-Old.
SHAUNA JENSEN is a vocalist with an outstanding pedigree.
She has an illustrious career and has worked in, not only Australia’s live music scene for many years, but has worked in the recording industry as well.
Shauna has sung in many styles and as she has been quoted as saying “there is only one style I have never sung and that’s Opera!”
Shauna has sung in places as far and wide as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, London and Rome.
In her role as a studio session singer her voice has been heard on many TV and radio commercials as well as soundtracks for films and TV series. From this began a successful career singing backing vocals and touring with Australia’s leading Rock Industry professionals, including Jimmy Barnes, Noiseworks, Cold Chisel, Richard Clapton et al. She even recorded an album (unreleased) of duets with Hugh Jackman and produced by the late legendary Phil Ramone.
She has appeared on TV as a judge on Network 7’s Popstars Live, as a regular panellist on Foxtel’s Beauty and The Beast, Featured singer on Foxtel’s Studio A as well as every incarnation of the Midday Show on Nine Network as a soloist.
Currently Shauna is appearing as one of the 100 judges in Network 7’s All Together Now.
Shauna’s popularity is such because she can sing any style and genre and weaves a magic spell whether it be with her smooth tones singing jazz or her belting soulful style.
Legend has it, Minnie was abandoned as a baby and left in the doorway of Arq nightclub.
Thankfully, she was adopted and raised by drag queens who taught her all about miming, glitter lipstick, platform heels and everything in-between.
Minnie was the reigning queen of Sydney’s premier nightclub Arq for fifteen years, producing award-winning shows and driving Sydney’s partygoers wild with excitement. She has produced and choreographed many large-scale spectacles at events such as Mardi Gras and Sleaze Ball, and has worked with stars including Jimmy Barnes, Kylie Minogue, Tina Arena, Kate Miller-Heidke, David Atkins, Todd McKenney, Rhonda Burchmore and Australia’s most famous drag performer, Carlotta.
Minnie has won more Drag Industry Variety Awards (DIVAs) than just about anyone, including having been awarded the prestigious Entertainer of the Year on a record number of three occasions.
In 2016 Minnie was semi-finalist on Australia’s Got Talent combing her drag, singing and tap dancing talents. More recently she performed for Cher at the 2018 Mardi Gras parade and appeared as a judge on Seven Network’s talent show All Together Now.
