A romantic journey with Trio Wanderer
The three globetrotting musicians of Trio Wanderer chose the perfect name for their ensemble. The Wanderer is the archetypal Romantic figure, an explorer of new horizons. Like its namesake, the Trio travels the world revisiting familiar repertoire, discovering new riches with every performance. It’s a quality that has taken the ensemble to the peak of the international scene. Playing with an almost supernatural connection, the Trio showcases the witty banter of Haydn’s dashing Trio in C, the vivacity of Bohemian folk song and dance in Dvořák’s ‘Dumky’ Trio and the heart-swelling drama of Rachmaninoff’s second Trio élégiaque.
