Joel McHale is on his way to Sydney for the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival! As one of the most sought after comedians and actors in the industry, Joel McHale has starred in the beloved television sitcom, Community, and also brought his biting commentary to mass audiences during his 12 years of hosting The Soup.

McHale has starred and appeared in many TV shows and films including the recent X-File’s, A Merry Friggin' Christmas, and Deliver Us From Evil. He also appeared in the Warner Bros' romantic comedy Blended alongside Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. His additional film credits include Ted, What's Your Number?, The Big Year, Spy Kids: All The Time in The World, and The Informant.

After all, he has hosted the annual White House Correspondents' Association Dinner, so we trust him to bring only the best to the Opera House.

TOFOP – Live

Wil Anderson and Charlie Clausen’s TOFOP is going to play the Opera House. Just let that sink in for a second. A podcast they can’t even figure out how to record properly will be live on stage at Australia's premiere entertainment venue. Thankfully they’ve managed to rope in John Deeks and a line up of hilarious special guests, guaranteeing that this will once again be nothing for everybody.

Claire Hooper & Mel Buttle Live

Claire and Mel are the co-hosts of The Great Australian Bake Off  for Foxtel’s Lifestyle Channel with culinary icons Maggie Beer and Matt Moran which is returning in 2017 with its third season.

A born storyteller with a sharp wit, Claire has been captivating audiences and receiving critical acclaim since she began her comedy career 13 years ago. Mel is a hilarious bundle of contradictions and she’s a package that is rapidly making herself felt in all mediums right across the country.  A regular on the live comedy circuit for years, Mel opened for Marc Maron when he toured Australia and has recently been seen on ABC TV’s The Weekly with Charlie Pickering.

Thanks to thousands of incredibly dedicated fans, they recently completed a crowd funded live podcast festival in Thailand where they were joined by listeners from Australia, New York, Switzerland and China.
