Is there anything more unexplainable than love?
First performed in Australia at Adelaide Festival in 2017, OCD Love is a captivating dance piece exploring the tribulations of a relationship complicated by obsessive love, taking inspiration from slam poet Neil Hilborn’s searingly honest work, OCD.
"I see everything in the piece very dark, and in shadows, you and your shadow dancing. It is the first time that the core of the piece is shaped in my head, and so figurative... It's not coming from a place that I want to make something sad, but something that I need to take out of myself, like a dark stone I have in my chest." Sharon Eyal, creator.
With gripping choreography and kinetic minimalist style, L-E-V Dance Company's Love Cycle is formed of two complementary but standalone shows, OCD Love and Love Chapter 2.
