Now in its 2nd year, the Winda Film Festival celebrates films and media art by Indigenous filmmakers from around Australia and the world.

Homeground will be presenting 'Native Slam II' comprised of short films from 15 Indigenous filmmakers who produce the films in teams in just 72 hours.

Pop by the screenings at Homeground and experience this special Indigenous shorts program of the best films on offer at the Winda Film Festival.

Presented by the Sydney Opera House in association with Winda Film Festival.

For thousands of years, the land that Sydney Opera House is built on was a gathering place for the Gadigal people who danced and sang here.

Homeground continues the rich history of this site, formerly known as Tubowgule, by bringing the very best First Nations artists from around the world to the Opera House Forecourt for two free days of music, dance, workshops and markets.

Celebrate the power of contemporary artists and ancient customs under the sun and stars at Homeground 2017.
