Mother's Ruin: A Cabaret about Gin

10 - 13 May 2018

Equal parts historical and hysterical, all heaving harmonies and tipsy candour, explore the history of gin through story and song. With two of Australia’s rising cabaret stars Maeve Marsden and Libby Wood at the helm, you will stumble and soar through tales of love and women, gin and secrets.

9 - 13 May 2018

It wasn’t until Jodee Mundy was five years old and lost at Kmart that she realised the rest of her family was Deaf. She didn’t see ‘disability’ – only the love and protection of those closest to her. Personal is a performance exploring the experience of being only hearing person in a Deaf family.

Two Jews walk into a theatre...

9 - 13 May 2018

Whether doting or distant, joker or tyrant, a father is a terrible weight to carry around. In an irreverent act of childishness, director and performer Brian Lipson and choreographer Gideon Obarzanek meet as their fathers on stage with all the intimacy, understanding and horror that only a son can supply.
