How you can help

For the first time ever, we’re inviting our audiences to play an active part in our carbon neutral mission. When you purchase a ticket to see any acts in the fantastic Vivid LIVE lineup, you can choose to add $1 to your order to help us offset 100% of the festival’s emissions. 

We work with Greenfleet to support various tree-planting projects across New South Wales. Your $1 contribution will go towards rehabilitation in the Northern Rivers region to support local koala populations. 

Raring to get to your show? Consider leaving the car at home and taking public transport to reduce your footprint.

In 2019, more than 70% of the waste generated during Vivid LIVE was reused or recycled. 

This year, we're working hard with our collaborators at Quayclean to beat that record by deploying a dedicated waste management team called Waste Warriors. You'll spot them roaming throughout the festival sorting through waste to ensure everything goes to its rightful place.

Thanks to the Waste Warriors, we're maximising our recycling rate and diverting recyclables from landfill. 

We know sustainability extends beyond our site too. 

Artist flights and accommodation are also offset and more than ever before, we're providing "green" riders too. We're supplying artists with reusable water bottles and setting up water stations in dressing rooms as an alternative to single-use plastic bottled water.
