Watch Stella Donnelly cover Kylie Minogue on the Forecourt

The full live set features 'Mechanical Bull', 'Tricks' and 'Boys Will Be Boys'

Sydney Opera House

This past Valentine’s Day, Stella Donnelly opened for two Australian greats – John Butler and Missy Higgins – on the legendary Forecourt stage. Even though she was on support duty, it felt like a triple-headliner; her biting lyrics on songs like ‘Beware of the Dogs’ and ‘Mechanical Bull’ cut straight to the heart of Australian culture and masculinity. After the shows, she released Beware of the Dogs, her new album.

She recently returned from a North American and European Tour, with four stars in The Guardian for a show in her home of Wales, and praise from the Manchester Union: “Stella Donnelly shows us exactly why the future of guitar music is female and leaves the cynics speechless.”

At Vivid LIVE, she’ll be playing in the Utzon Room, by the water, and with her band.

Stella Donnelly plays Vivid LIVE on 28 and 29 May 2019 in the Utzon Room.

“Two Australian greats came home to where it all began. But it feels like they never left.”
