Filled with live music, CoisCéim Dance Theatre’s reimagining of Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf is contemporary dance at its best.

“Reinterpreting this classic in a way that speaks to the next generation.”

David Bolger, Director and Choreographer

The Wolf and Peter Image: Ros Kavanagh

A timeless classic with a contemporary twist

Told through the eyes of the Wolf, this energetic new work is inspired by one of Prokofiev’s most famous scores, Peter and the Wolf. Filled with dance and live music, students will explore themes of courage and imagination while experiencing contemporary dance at its best. A fun and richly theatrical production, The Wolf and Peter will inspire students to question how different perspectives can shape stories and how character journeys can be depicted through movement and dance. Directed and choreographed by David Bolger.

Presented by Sydney Opera House and CoisCéim Dance Theatre
