You’ll have the opportunity to ask your guide questions during the digital tour and meet fellow virtual travellers from across the world, all from the comfort of your own home. You can join from your computer, mobile phone or tablet.

We encourage you to purchase your tour in advance online so you don't miss out.

Do I need to buy a ticket for everyone in my household?
No. Any individuals sharing a device at home only need to purchase one ticket/link. If you are purchasing for multiple devices within your house or for others outside of your household then you will need a ticket per device.

Do I need to have my camera and microphone turned on for the tour?
This is an interactive tour and we would love you to be involved and interact with our guide.
If you have a camera and microphone it will turn on automatically when the tour begins, however you can choose to turn it off as we respect your privacy.
We strongly recommend that your speakers and camera are turned on for the best possible interactive experience.
I haven't received my Zoom link for the tour. How do I get the link?
When you have made your booking, you will receive an email from us with a Zoom meeting link and details on how to join the tour on your booked date and time.

I have booked tickets for my family, friends or colleagues who are joining from different locations. Do they get a separate Zoom link?
Please send the Zoom meeting link from your tour booking confirmation to the people you have booked to join you on the tour.
Your guide will ask you to confirm your guests via the chat function before the tour begins.
What happens if I can't make my tour?

What time do I need to log on for my tour?
It's a great idea to log on 10 minutes before your tour begins to ensure you don't miss the start of the Guided Digital Tour.
If I am late for my tour what can I do?
If you are going to be late, please join us as soon as you can and we will admit you to the tour at a suitable break. Or please email us at tourismbookings@sydneyoperahouse.com
Is the tour pre-recorded?
This is an online experience hosted live by a Sydney Opera House tour guide. We will share our screen to show you a pre-recorded video and the tour guide will comment on everything you see.
Can I ask questions during the tour?
Absolutely! This is an interactive tour and we would love you to be involved and interact with our guide by asking questions.
Will the tour be recorded? Can I take a photo of the screen or record the tour?
No, the tour will not be recorded. We respect the privacy of our tour guests.
