Frequently Asked Questions
Can I take photos during the tour?
We can’t confirm that you can take photos at this event. Please check with staff when you arrive.
There are plenty of photo opportunities throughout the entire tour. Your tour guide will advise you whilst on tour if photographs are not to be taken inside any venues.
Do I need to join my kids on the tour?
Yes. Children aged 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Will there be breaks throughout the day?
The Junior Day Pack is a jam packed, fun filled day.
The tour will conclude at approximately 12.30pm, you will then head over to lunch at Opera Bar for a 12.45pm start. This will allow you enough time to enjoy lunch and make your way to your seats to see 360 ALLSTARS for a 2pm start.
What should I wear?
So long as you’re wearing shoes and a shirt, whatever you like. We’re pretty informal here at the Opera House.
You’ll be on your feet for the Junior Adventure tour, there are over 300 stairs, so flat comfortable shoes are recommended. Your feet will thank you!
What are the transport options to the Opera House?
You can catch public transport (bus, train, ferry) to Circular Quay and enjoy a 6 min walk to the Opera House. If you’re getting dropped off in a car head to the roundabout at the bottom Macquarie Street where staff will direct you to a safe place to pull over.

What time do I need to arrive before the show?
It's a great idea to arrive 30 minutes before the show.
If you are collecting your tickets from the Box Office, we recommend doing this before the tour starts. If you have already received your tickets, head to the Welcome Centre and wait for your tour to depart.
